Respecting my nondisclosure agreement (NDA), I can not share the specific details of my project!!

My internship at Lands' End was an immersive experience in user-centered design. I played a key role in optimizing the website's usability for both loyal customers and new audiences. I pinpointed user pain points across the B2C and B2C landscape through a comprehensive research process.

Leveraging Figma, I designed and prototyped solutions that addressed these challenges. This included revamping the size chart for improved clarity, reimagining product pages (PDP) and PMP for a more engaging shopping experience, and redesigning the header for enhanced navigation to name a few. To ensure consistency and efficiency, I spearheaded the creation of a reusable component library, a valuable asset for the ongoing website redesign.

My internship experience extended beyond the UI. I actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, including marketing and development. This fostered a holistic understanding of the design process, from user research to implementation. By aligning design solutions with business objectives, I contributed to creating a website that empowers customers and drives sales growth.

User testing was a cornerstone of my internship. I actively participated in usability sessions, gaining invaluable insights into user behavior and the effectiveness of my designs. Witnessing firsthand the positive impact of the work on the user experience was incredibly rewarding.

This internship wasn't about acquiring new skills (although I did learn Figma!). It was a transformative experience that ignited my passion for UX design. Lands' End showed me that design goes beyond aesthetics; it's about unlocking the "aha moment" for users. The empathy I gained for the user journey, coupled with the robust research methodologies I learned, empowers me to tackle any design challenge confidently. I'm eager to leverage this newfound expertise to craft seamless user experiences that leave an impression.
